I'll start with the good: the location cannot be beat. It is right across the street from the best beach on the island. It is close to the airport, downtown and Lagoa nightlife. The pool was also ok.

The rest is not so positive. The service at the front desk is un-helpful - not really because they are rude, just clueless. After trying the breakfast the first day, we opted not to eat at the hotel anymore. The room (in the main building) was poorly maintained and the shower was absolutely horrible - took forever to heat up and no pressure whatsoever.

The website, high prices and addition of the word "eco" to the name are misleading. This is a budget-quality hotel charging luxury (or almost-luxury) prices.

what a deception after booking a 1OO euros bedromm (2ad/1ch)! it looked like a ecological family resort front of ocean BUT : inondation in the lobby,limited wi fi access ,awful breakfast with powdered juices (in a tropical country), old ham and dry bread, dirty dining room with old styled fisher items, no hot water for 12 hours, none english speaking and impolite staff,tv out of order , don't serve dinner etc... could be ok if it was charged like "pousada"(2à euros on average per night)... skip it, save your money!

If you are like me, you spend very little time in your room on this type of vacation. For Florianopolis, this location is very good. Across the street is one of the prettiest beaches you've ever seen and great for surfing, kite surfing or paddle boarding. Sure also good for just laying or walking on gorgeous rocks. The back of this huge property is on the lagoon looking across the water at the town where all the restaurants and shops are. I had a car and just found this place because of location and was happy there. People who say the rooms are dirty, etc are couch potatoes. This is Brazil at the beach and one of the prettiest beaches I've seen in the world.

First everyone had told me how wonderful going to floripa was and it was just not in this hotel...lets make a list..place smelled moldy and when you leave your clothes do to..expensive oK I did go a few days after carnival...AND then to the room we go..this elevator you pulled the gate to shut the door can we say 1960 in a elevator that barely fit you suitcase then they had light sensors that turn on hall lights that sometimes did not go on down a scarey old moldy hallway...to the door of the room which is a key and the door knob half on ...great then into our clean haha room with sand still on the tile (cold) floor ..the beds I can not even go there ...I slept only one night in with the plastic it was to uncomfortable and a burn hole on the pillow case WTF and the double bed was not a double but over sized single with a single bed also in room?? dont ask me why.. that was and undersized single...freak me out..NO pictures..NO clock...white walls and mold on the dresser and OH MY GOSH what was this stuck to my night stand a bloody bandaid ...I was almost sick they said they cleaned the room...the light next to the bed was a light BULB no cover and hanging off wall the light over head was unfinished also..it is next to nothing so if no car you can eat in the gross restuarant that NO ONE is in..otherwise take a bus to the nearest place 10-15 min away..this place cant even get 1 star ...we prepaid thru a travel company and could not get our money back so we decided to call friends in brazil and drive 4 hours to stay with them even thought we booked for a 4 day stay could not do it ...was the WORST PLACE i ever stayed...no lighting, mirrors cracked...and just a travel tip ... I have no problem with Gay men at all.. but ladies if your single never mind the only thing in this hotel is good looking gay men that will not give you a second look..they come for carnival and right a cross the road at the beach is there other home ...not bad to look at but what is in it for me...THIS PLACE NEEDS MAJOR WORK MAJOR Until that it is gross...I CAN SAY THE STAFF are the nicest people I ever met and totally understood my concerns but the father gave the hotel to his son...and look what happens
