I long over rated review

Pros - Nice beach within 2 mins walk - one of the best on the island
The place is clean
The staff are nice and being able to speak English is great , especially here !!
Breakfast was fine
The place is very relaxed

Cons - Its in the middle of no where - there is one bar/restaurant up the road that is walkable , mainly for locals but to get anywhere its a cab .
This place is most def on the quiet side of the island , there is no shopping near by , no bars etc - so if you are looking for nightlife this is not the place for you .
The place is very basic - the rooms ( standard room ) are small and doors are paper thin so you can hear people coming and going .

For us the cons out weighed the pros and when it started to rain and there was nothing to do we packed up and left and went back to RIO and on to buzios ( fantastic by the way )

It was expensive for what we got , but I have to say , when I went to the owner and told him we wanted to go , there was no hassle , he simply charged us for the nights we stayed and we went on our way

Wonderful small (21 room) locally owned hotel (pousada). Extremely friendly owner (speaks English) who takes great pride in his property and gardens- an avid environmentalist! The pousada has a restaurant on site where they make their own breads, desserts, and fresh juices from the bounty of their gardens.
Wonderful, spacious deluxe rooms, each appointed with large spa tubs and small sunny balconies- self sufficient and very cozy. Standard rooms are nicely appointed and are themed with artifacts that the owner has collected on his own world travels.
Only a 100m/330ft walk to the beautiful white sandy beach. The property is removed from town- which is great if you want to relax. The property is best reached by car, or they can arrange collection from Florinopolis airport.

Pousada Natur Campeche is a 21-room inn on Campeche Beach, near Praia Mole. You literally walk across the street and through an empty lot, and you're on a beautiful beach that you can walk for miles in either direction, apparently one of the most popular beaches for surfing. The hotel has rooms and suites, each with a theme from a country around the world, as the owner loves to travel himself, and is an inveterate collector. The hotel is protected with a high gate, green gardens surround the small swimming pool. It's very secure.

Easily accessible by mass transit from the center of Florianopolis, or by taxi from the airport, a few miles away.

The breakfast was outstanding, lots of fresh fruit, Brazilian breads and great coffee.

The owners are extremely attentive, and make this a welcome place to stay. Free wireless internet, plus a computer in the lobby downstairs for your convenience.

We really enjoyed our stay at Pousada Natur Campeche. The owner, Talmir, was very helpful, friendly, and accomodating. The room we stayed in (a "master suite" was immaculate, with very nice furnishings, including a great whirlpool tub. They also prepared a nice breakfast even though we were the only people staying at the pousada at the time (it was early autumn, when much of Florianopolis is pretty quiet). The gardens surrounding the pousada are pleasant, and the environment is peaceful and relaxing. It's located a short walk from the beach. Campeche is one of the quieter, less heavily populated/visited parts of the island -- it's not too convenient if you're looking for great nightlife, but if you want peace and relaxation, it's hard to beat.
