This is a good/average business hotel which features clean rooms, good public areas and friendly and efficient staff, good pool and has a central location. I would compare it to a Holiday Inn. We had a very comfortable stay here.
The hotel's main drawback is its location which is a long walk away from the best area of Beira-Mar Norte, which has restaurants and bars and is generally nicer. If I had to stay again I would try the Sofitel in that area.

We spent 4 nights at Intercity.It was very pleasant.The service was friendly and helpful.The fitness center is well-equiped and the pool is sprawling (if you compare with another hotel in downtown).We had and upgrade for a suite.The view was incredible.That hotel is a good bet for the ones who want to stay in downtown.

i had a great stay there during carnaval 2004... a long drive to the beach... service was impecable and breakfast was excellent. Close to all the night spots and clubs so you don't have long to drive after a night of partying
