The Cecomtur Executive Hotel combines a terrific central location with clean economical rooms, a 16th floor roof-top pool and restaurant, an exercise room, and a great breakfast. It's a short walk to both local and intercity bus terminals, across the street from the beautiful Praça XV do Novembro park, and two blocks from the central indoor/outdoor public market and the main shopping district.

Most rooms have a view, however the best views are from any room numbered XX09 and up (e.g., 809, 1216) especially even numbered rooms (XX10-XX20). Rooms numbered XX01-XX08 face west onto neighboring buildings such that few have views (XX06 has a view between buildings).

My spotlessly clean room (1106) was 170 square feet plus the bathroom and the rate was $47 USD with breakfast. It did not have a great view (looking east between neighboring buildings) and may have been smaller than others, but it was fine for my purposes.

I stayed here the day before my return home. I arrived by bus from Foz do Iguaçu and took the city bus to the airport the next day. Both bus terminals are about a 4 block walk from the hotel.
