I stayed four days in Deville Porto Alegre Hotel. The staff was helpful and the room was ok. The location is good only if you want to stay close to the airport. Otherwise, this is not the best choice. All the nice places are far away and sometimes there are no taxis available at the hotel. I waited for a taxi for 15 minutes.
The breakfast and the other meals at the hotel's restaurant were awful. I've been to Porto Alegre and others cities in south Brazil before and never had had such horrible food. Well, the good thing is that I answered the satisfaction survey and they replied, telling me that each of my suggestions were sent to the people in charge. I don't know if they will do something or not, but it was kind anyway.

The hotel is really good and beautiful. Excellent service, rooms and restaurant. The only problem if it's a bit far away from downtown (airport area).

Very good location, only 800 mt from Salgado Filho Airport, only 50 mt from interstate BR 116. Plenty room for parking, nice frontdesk staff and quick check-in. Comfortable new rooms, very silent, but ask for rooms heading north, avoiding airport noise. Restaurant "Ventanas" with very good dinner options. Breakfast good as always in most Brazilian Hotels, with lot of fruits. Fully recommend this Hotel.

I managed to book myself in one of the worst hotels in Porto Alegre, It was a recommendation at the airport? I had no cash on me so I prepaid for a taxi to said hotel, once there I realized my mistake but I was stuck there because the reception told me they couldn’t find a taxi that accepts only VISA.

I searched tripadvisor and found Deville hotel, I called them and spoke to Fernanda she booked me a room here in the Deville and fond me a taxi that takes VISA, she arranged for the taxi to pick me up at the Metro Hotel and bring me to the Deville. The hotel is wonderful and I would recommend this hotel to anybody needing to do business or for leisure!!!!!
