Attracted by hotel's brand, location and fare's discount due to conference my wife was attending to, I chose this particular hotel and I was expecting a good service hotel and a pleasant stay. Unfortunality this was not what really hapened.
The hotel was renewing it's interior, so when I arrived with my wife, the whole main hall was smelling fresh paint. The good part is that it was only the main hall and not the rooms.
The room was good, cozy, a nice sized and confortable bed, nice looking bathroom, nice tv, a/c device etc. But it had just been renewed, so all the outlets were changed to the new brazilian standard (and the mandatory date for it's adoption will be only after 7 months from now), and the hotel did't have any adaptors to provide. I had to find an appliance store so I could buy one to charge my notebook and cellphone.
Despite the renewal, the bathroom shower was very old and wasn't possible to change the water direction because it was stuck. And the bath towels provided were small and no soft at all.
The internet fare, when I accessed the 'login' page said it would cost zero reals for the day, was charged in my account a value of R$ 6,00 a day. So the information displayed was not in accordance with the applied.
The breakfast, included in the fare, was very simple and didn't have many options, and it was exactly the same one every day.
I was expecting a minimum of serices in the hotel, like a pool and a gym, but they don't have any. They do have an agreement with a nearby gym, so a guest could pay a R$ 20,00 fee to be able to use it. This was a disappointment for me.
However a major problem was that in the middle of the stay my wife found a small cockroach roaming through the room's floor. That was terrible.
