My girlfriend gave me a wonderful gift at Varanda das Bromélias. This hotel is all we expected. Great service, great room, very friendly employees, awesome breakfast... I have no complaints to make. I recommend this hotel for those who want comfort, rest and good service.

We were celebrating our marriage aniversary and the place was just perfect. They have several options on the room preparation and some packages including massage, special dinner and other ammenities.
We decided to have the romantic dinner, prepared in a private room besides the restaurant. It has to be ordered 24hs in advance but the staff was great on arranging for the same day. It was an unique experience, part of the dinner served in this room ending with a chocolate fondue in our room by the end. A few minor things to be adjusted in the service, but the overall experience was unforgetable.
Even if it says that the hotel is walking distance from the hotel, that's not an easy walk, since the hotel is up in the hill.
Great breakfest, lovely staff, big and confortable rooms, specially when compared with other options in the region.
