Our family with 4 years old kid stayed 8 nights at this Hotel, now named Laguetto Siena, with mountain view and excellent service, including food at restaurant.The only missing point is the lack of a kids channel on tv.

This is a medium size hotel that belongs to one of the largest French chains. It is well kept and the staff (as most everywhere in Gramado) is courteous and gentle although only a few can speak other language than Portuguese. The rooms facing the valley have a superb view, but those facing the high-way that is in front of the hotel are comfy but noisy. The swimming pool is indoors and heated which makes sense for the cool weather in the region. The hotel is about a mile from the city center and, if you are not with a car, it is a good walk. Breakfast is very good as it is in most hotels in Brazil. Compared to other hotels in the area, The Mercure Gramado is a very good deal, since it is new, has good facilities and its own charm. Oh! do not miss the restaurant! Great food!

We stayed in this hotel during our honeymoon in May, 2007.
It is very clean (as usual in all Accor hotels) and the staff is friendly.
The room had a comfortable queen size bed and a heater.
Although it is not located downtown, this is not a problem, because in Gramado many restaurants and stores have a car with a driver that goes to the hotel to take and then leave you. During the day, you may walk downtown in about 20 minutes and besides, taxi is not expensive.

We really enjoyed this hotel and Gramado city.
