Nice, good food, but if they are full there's a risk to have some troubles (not big, but...) in their room (infrastructure, like no hot water for 60 or more minutes). Don't stay in one of the rooms located at the left side of the hotel. It is better to whom is making tourist travel, even with kids, they love it.

Rifoles hotel in Punta Negra has a good location and a good beach , ask for a room with view on the pool as the other are quite depressing.

This hotel has a very good view of Ponta Negra beach, the most famous urban beach of Natal, Brazil. But if you like good services, don´t stay there. Their service a very bad, specially the one's they offer on the beach.

I´ve been there for the brazilian carnival, 5 days. The rates were quite expensive then, but not for me as I used my Bancorbras package for the 5 nights, which cost 1/4 of the daily rate at the time.
The location is the best available in Natal, as the hotel is pratically IN the beach, great view, great sun, great wind, I mean, if you´ve been to Natal you know what I´m talking about. The rooms are just fine, nothing to complain, nice king bed, nice bathroom, nice TV, got to watch the Winter Olympics on TV.
Breakfast is great, almost a Smörgåsbord of Nordeste Brazilian Food. Nice restaurante for a late dinner, garage was available at no extra fee for our rental car. Very close to the hotel there´s a Camarões restaurant, the best seafood around. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel has everything you would expect, good amenities, decent pool area, beach access, etc. Though for the price you would expect a little more. The Internet access is 15 Real for 24 hours and the connection really crap. Using the safe in the room is another 2.50 Real a day. It kid of feels like you are taken for a ride. The breakfast is OK, though nothing to write home about. I would not rate this more than 3 stars. The hotel is located at the north of Ponta Negra. Actually about the last hotel with deck chairs on the beach. So it is quite a walk to the action and no bars or restaurants close by. You can enjoy the beach and use the local vendors rather than the hotel, so you pay 4 Real for a Caipirinhia, rather than 10 Real at the hotel. In fact, they do not make an effort to serve at the beach, unlike the vendors at the beach. So it servers them right to have less business.
