The hotel is nicelly located but this is an extremely busy busy hotel and not all the room have the same quality level for the same price as some rooms have been recently redecorated and some other not yet.

Also the rooms located next to the smimming pool and restaurant are extremely noisy with bad and loud music from 7 PM to 10 every night!!!

The site of the hotel advise that they can adapt their room but even requesting some more light to study (it is poorly illuminated) they said it they couldn't do anything.

So avoid if possible.

We stayed there in January 2009, in New Years holliday. It´s an old hotel, at via Costeira, a road that has lots of resorts in Natal and goes along the beach. The hotel itself has old rooms, ours was with a broken window and needed repair. The beds and bathroom were OK, nice and clean and we slept well. The pools are nice too, medium sized and the beach in front of the hotel is rocky and the sea not good for swimming because of large waves and tide.
The restaurant for breakfast is very good but not the lunch. The staff is a little lazy and vagarous but overral helpful. The fireworks for New Years was good and the dinner nice too.
Guess its a reasonable option but not the first.

've been in this hotel in January 2011, he has good services, a prime location opposite the sea and the city of Natal is one of the most beautiful beaches of Brazil.

we stayed here in january 2007. a deal with thomsonfly.
hotel nothing to complain about, just the entertainment was poor and the wine had to be tasted to see how poor that was !
beach was nice for walking along, but too rough really for swimming or snorkelling.
the coconut drinks they served were very refreshing.
there are cats to feed !
beware of trips out, we booked two, one was a trip to a freshwater lake for a swim, a cashew nut tree, dolphins playing in the surf, lunch at an old barn, where we watched a bull harness itself up. this was by beach buggy - we hadn't wanted to go on the beach buggy adventure - but boy did we ! crashed on the way to the lake, no-one hurt, just shaken up.
then taking off into mid air when racing up and down sand dunes ! needed a stiff drink when we got back. my white blouse ruined with sand stains. the driver of the buggy was sacked afterwards.

the other trip to the mangroves,lunch on the beach, and afternoon tea in an old planation was more of a calming influence and more relaxing !
