“Over rated. Much over rated!”

The little hotel is OK, but it is far from being the best in Natal. It´s not the best even in Ponta Negra, where you can find better hotels, facing the beach for almost the same price. I went with my 10yo child and the breakfast was crappy and he kept complaining about it. The room was not bad, but it was raining and the stairs were outside the building making you wet to get to the room.
Simply not worth it.

“Incredible value for clean ocean view hotel with friendly staff.”

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for six nights and enjoyed our stay very much. I think our room had the very best view of any in the hotel--a corner room with a balcony that overlooked the pool and faced the ocean. We arrived very late at night (around 12:30 a.m.) and were pleasantly surprised by our great view when we woke up in the morning. Each person we met at the front desk was efficient and friendly, as were all of the other staff that we dealt with. We're not the typical tourists, so we weren't looking for things to do in the area other than relaxing on the beach the whole time. However, if we had been looking to the hotel for suggestions about sightseeing, we would have been disappointed. Other than arranging a dune buggy ride (which we do regret not doing), the reception desk doesn't seem to have many suggestions. This may have been partly due to the language difference, however. I'm mentioning it only because we probably would have researched the area a little more thoroughly before our visit if we had known this.

This is a very relaxed hotel, which made our visit stress free. We didn't run into very many people in Natal who were fluent in English, but everyone was so friendly and helpful that the language difference was hardly a barrier. The hotel is extremely reasonably priced, as well as the food, drinks, minibar, Internet, and laundry service. The only issue we ran into was that the double bed in our room was actually two twins pushed together, which would have been less of an issue except that the sheets were also twin-sized, which resulted in a tangle of sheets every morning. I will probably bring a large flat sheet with me if I return to this hotel, which I do hope to do someday.

“Great value, pleasant stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 April 2009

The owner was very helpful as was the staff. Great location - 2 short blocks from the beach, restaurants within walking distance. Good pool & patio. Nice breakfast. You can get other meals there, too. We tried staying downtown in Natal, but found Ponta Negra had much more to offer.

“Very pleasant Stay”

Value for money! I stayed for 10 days in this pousada. I have absolutely nothing to fault.
The apartments were very clean and the staff were very helpful, attentive and friendly. The short walk to the beach, the varanda and the swimming pool settings made it a wonderful place to stay in Ponta Negra.

“Nice and friendly hotel - everything we wanted”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 January 2009

My boyfriend and I stayed at the hotel for 6 days in August 2008. I booked the hotel by contacting them directly via e-mail (in Portuguese though, didn't attempt English).
The room was pleasant, clean. We were able to use the safe free of charge.
Breakfast was good, plenty of different bagels, tasty marmalade and fresh fruit.
The hotel is in a good location, just minutes walk in one direction your reach the beach, and minutes walk in the opposite direction you get to the main road where buses and taxis pass.
Plenty of restaurants at walking distance as well as night life.
The staff was nice and friendly. Ready to help us when we had additional questions.
Again can't say anything about their English because I spoke Portuguese with them.
There is a small pool as well but we didn't use it. It seems that most of the guests didn't use it either other than for sun bathing and reading beside it.
