Lived in Tiffanys for several weeks while working in Rio. The rooms apparently are owned by different people so the furniture may be different. we had a room on the 15th floor. great balconys and views, but the rooms were in poor condition, bathrooms especially were not very nice (and very small), the carpets were old and smelling, the kitchen was very small, and the dishes supplied in the kitchen looked like they never were washed thoroughly.
The place is in a great location for the beach, and the balconys are fantastic (although it is somewhat loud in the area, need to keep the ac on to drown out the noise of traffic) the front desk persons are friendly but are not fluent in english and the information about services in the hotel are scant. the breakfast is hardly more than u could make urself in ur tiny kitchen, but ok price. Internet service in our room was good as was tv service. (and they were fairly prompt to resolve the problem when internet went down).
Recommend this place if u are going to live on the beach and just need a place to crash but i would rate the overall standard of the hotel as 2 stars at the most.
