The duplex penthouse I have stayed was marvelous, the owner are great too. very clean, tidy, everything working, great conditions. ocean view, private terrace with swimming pool/jacuzzi........cable,...........and the price for all that i couldn't find anywhere else. the location is great too. beachfront, close to grocery store, newsstand, restaurant, entertainment, i didn't need to go far from there to get enterteinment!! great, great and great!! check their website at atbrazilstyle

Planned to spend 5 days there, stayed only overnight and went elsewhere. There is actually a lot wrong with this hotel. Here are a few of my complaints:
1. In a 2-bedroom suite only one of three air conditioners was wroking.
2. Floors were dirty. Carpeting apparently had not been cleaned for a very long time.
3. Paperwork and procedures are ridiculous. Had to fill out a separate registration form for each individual. Deposit on credit card was recorded manually.
4. Employees not particularly helpful.

I have seen this hotel rated a 3-star. NOT!! I would give it a 2-star, at most. This is definitely not a good value, in my opinion.
