This property needs a major facelift. The room is large for Rio standards but its basic. Dirty walls, torn curtains, the mirror in the bathroom needed replaced. Poor construction finishing. When we arrived, the room was clean but barely. The floor was really dirty and had a film of sand throughout. The staff were just present and really had no clue for customer service. No real hospitality polish on any level. Basic Brazilian breakfast was fine. The location is good and there are a few restaurants within walking distance. Zona Sul grocery is a 10 minute walk. Its a step above Ibis for room size but thats about it. Customer service and general property appearance won't have me coming back.
