I was so glad I treated myself to five nights Casas Brancas. It rained the first three days I spent in Buzios, but fortunately this hotel has excellent staff and facilities including two good restaurants on site and a lovely spa. I did a private yoga class every morning with Carla - she is amazing! She's very intuitive and tailors the class to the abilities of her student (I had a sprained hand so this was important). I also booked two wonderful massages with Bernard. When the weather cleared, Sebastian at the front desk helped me arrange to spend a perfect day lounging at the private Rocka Beach restaurant. I had one inconvenient night of changing rooms due to an issue with the rain, but overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend Casas Brancas.

Everything about Casas brancas from the moment we checked in was top notch. Our room wasn't ready because we had arrived early without informing the hotel. But the common areas are so beautiful and the staff so warm and attentive that we didn't for a moment feel the need to go to our room even though we'd come from a 3 hour drive.
Sebastian the concierge is amazing, he is super caring and really well informed and makes sure your stay is superb. You have to go and stay there to really understand what i'm saying. We were supposed to be in Buzios for 3 days and ended up staying for 4. Casas Brancas is expensive considering the rooms are relatively basic, however you soon realize you're not paying for an fancy room but the experience of feeling like you really belong there. The location is perfect, you're within walking distance of town and Rua des Pedres. At the same time if you're looking for complete relaxation and the best view i've ever had from a hotel pool you can get that too. Buzios itself is a great place to visit either on a romantic holiday or as a family. I will definitely go back next time i'm in Brazil.

We always stay here, it's in a great location to walk to everywhere, lovely views and sunsets. we've never rented a car. The food's good and they have a spa.

Buzios is a delightful destination and Casa Brancas is the icing on the cake. What a wonderful hotel - great location, fantastic service, excellent restaurant (The Deck), amazing view, and relaxing pool/lounging areas. The staff was A+! I toured around all the beaches and other locations and was very happy at the choice of hotels. The street noise can get a little much at times, but it is so convenient to the best shopping and eating. The bed and bathroom were more than spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious each morning overlooking the bay, watching the boats and ships come and go. I will definitely stay here on a repeat visit.
