We were in Ashland for the day, when we decided to stay the night. When we checked in the staff didn't seem very interested in talking to us so we went straight to the room. We payed $49 for the one night, the room was very clean, nicely decorated, and in a great location. The pool and hot tub were also great. The only problem we had was the unfriendly staff. Upon check out two staff members saw us standing at the front desk but continued to chat amongst themselves and ignore us. I would pay the extra $20 to stay at the Best Western just down the highway.

This motel was clean and adequate, but basic. Wireless internet was very erratic in our room--would fade in and out. This is very frustrating when you're trying to work on the internet. Breakfast was adequate also, but there really wasn't any good place to sit and eat it. We only found out after we'd eaten that there was a conference room down the hall where people went to eat. No sign in the breakfast area indicated that this was available. Not a pride of Super 8 quality in my opinion, and we've stayed in many, many Super 8's.

Walked in aorund 10 pm after a brutally long day from Winnipeg and was happy to get a room. The pool was such a nice surprise at such a low rate and I really enjoyed a quick 20 laps before heading out to the all night Country Market restaurant for something to eat. Quiet, clean and, while not overly chatty or friendly, accommodating. Did the trick.

Small, sparsely furnished rooms but reasonably clean. Required maintenance, such as a broken chair and door that wouldn't close, is not a priority with the owner.

The rooms have no soundproofing. You will hear the neighbors use the toilet, shave, run water, sneeze, snoore and just about any other noise that a minimum amount of soundproofing would eliminate.

We were promised that pets were not allowed in out section of the motel but there were dogs running around the halls. The continental breakfast is a throwback to 25 years ago when a few motels offered coffee, juice, a few stale donuts and not much more. The coffee is not drinkable.
