Stayed 3 nights. Location: good if you have business in Belvedere area, not so good for centre of Belo. General condition: good for a Brazilian hotel. Staff: good. Noise: you have to shut the windows or the barking dogs and road noise ensure a poor night. The windows have some funky latches that require a special tool. As an engineer and poor sleeper, I used my toothbrush to lever mine shut and slept ok. My usually well-sleeping non-engineer colleague did not manage to close his and slept badly. The gym tries hard nut one bike was broken and the other was partly broken. The treadmill was broken. There is a long narrow pool for laps but not heated! Biggest issue is value for money - costs as much as a similar hotel in NYC. I would stay here again given that there are a lot of poor hotels in Belo and this is better than most of the rest.

I agree this hotel is isolated from almost anything unless you're a shopper. Restaurant is considerably expensive and latte prices can vary according to the waiter's mood. Only hotel that I have stayed that the "Fitness Center" opens at 7AM, and actually you have to call to have it open for you.

No wireless in guest rooms.

Staff is corteous and attentive.

The Caesar Business Belo Horizonte is a 4 star hotel fighting to keep up with the independent 5 star Spa that occupies the entire pool area of the hotel.
Internet is charged, food is bad, service even worse. When you wonder what you are doing there you walk into an oasis on the P Level called the Vanessa de Oliveira Health Club & Spa. Hotel guests are permitted into the private club at no extra cost for the duration of their stay. Massages performed by asian therapists in private bungalos, hair salon overlooking the swimming pool, teeth whitening, botox, I was in heaven only that I walked in thru the back door! Oh, the charming spa-bistro was my only disappointment, the waiter then assured me that food and beverage service in the spa was operated by the hotel, ah.

Despite a friendly staff and decent restaurant, I would not recommend anyone stay at this hotel which is very far from downtown Belo Horizonte--US $25 to $40 for a taxi into town and $60 to the airport. The Business Office was completely dysfunctional during my entire stay there. Internet fees were twice as high as any hotel I have stayed in Brazil and their six computers were totally non-functional and no one seemed to know how to fix them during my 4 days at the hotel. Very frustrating since I did not bring my laptop and I was on a business trip--WIFI in the bar area was irratic according to other guests. Often, the front desk had no Brazilian cash for foreign money exchange. Pool was small but the health club was adequate. If you are visiting Belo on business or pleasure, I would recommend you stay at a downtown hotel where nearby facilities are abundant and convenient.
