I stayed here with a group of 20 students from Johns Hopkins on a cultural tour of Brazil. Needless to say, Brasilia was the least exciting of our stops on the tour (we were more into raging in Rio). That's why I thanked my lucky stars that we stayed in this hotel: it is very sleek and luxe, with huge luxury bathrooms. So if I was bored here, at least I had an extremely comfy bed (we're talking very high thread count sheets). The grounds are expansive and well kept, so I spent a lot of time walking around for exercise. You can even walk to the presidential palace from the hotel. That's about all there is to do, though. We did swim in the big pool at night, and I enjoyed the sauna. The pool and hotel are nice, but everything is extremely flat and bland, almost like you are on the moon or something. I'd recommend staying here if you have to come to Brasilia.
