I Stayed at the Mercure for three weeks whilst on business in Vitoria. A great little hotel right smack bang in the trendy part of town - Praia Do Canto. Lots of eateries, bars and places just to sit and people watch while you sink a few Caipharinias!! Every type of food you can think of within a quarter mile radius. I didnt eat in the hotel apart from breakfast. Internet access in all rooms.
The hotel is clean and is well appointed. However, there is a certain amount of celebrating goes on between Thursday and Sunday nights with the revelers spilling out on to the street and, generally, having a good old time until the early hours.
Rooms are good, bedroom, bathroom and day room with a small kitchenette. Most rooms have balconies. Staff are helpful and freindly.
Hotel is approx 20 mins from airport. Make sure you get the right hotel as there is another Mercure in Villa Velha (accross the bridge).
I will stay here again if I go back to Vitoria.
