A nice, clean, apart hotel. Perhaps a bit pricey for the lowly traveler but deals can be done. Rooms good. Mine had an office, two bathrooms, double bedroom and a day room. Kitchenette with basic cooking equip. Very clean.
Small restaraunt, no bar but the hotel is situated in the middle of what appears to be the local enetrtainmentt area. Praia do Canto - Bars and eateries aplenty!! A good Beer House accross the road and loads of places to eat half a cow at very reasonable prices. Sushi, Churascurias and italian eateries within a stones throw.
I found that friday and saturday nights a bit noisey with the streets in front of the hotel full of party-goers, until the early hours. If you cant beat em, join em. The local 'Ladies of the night' (Night fighters) frequent a couple of cantinas situated around the corner from the hotel. But they dont bother you if you dont want them to.
All in all, a nice clean hotel, friendly staff and right in the middle of where-its-at !!!
