I recently needed to stay overnight in Appleton due to having surgery at a local medical facility. We had a reservation made and I went to check in while my husband parked the car. As I gave my name the front desk staff noticed that I was on crutches and asked if I would prefer a first floor room. I readily agreed to the switch, and she made it happen. When we got to the room there was plenty of space for me to maneuver in the room and bathroom. The room was clean and we slept well. My husband was able to get a quick, easy, and plentiful breakfast at six from the one provided by the Microtel. I wish we had had time to go to the Fox River Mall, which is about sixty seconds from the hotel.

Overall was very happy with my stay. Customer service was great, all requests such as an extra pillow and extra towel was given with not even a blink of an eye. Was glad to see my special request of a prior non smoking room was granted upon check-in as I have an allergy to it.
Also liked the ease of being able to walk to near by mall and stores since it was surprisingly a good day out when I was there. We could have walked to the restaurants but didn't as it was late and didn't want to walk in the dark.

I always enjoy my stay at the Appleton Microtel. Our rooms have always been clean and comfortable. Love the beds! And it's super close to the Fox River Mall...who could ask for more!

Tiny, tiny, sparse room. No internet in the room and internet in business center did not work! We found swimming suites left in the bathroom.
