dont at all costs stay at this apartment hotel, none of the staff speak english... the rooms and lobby/hallways are filthy....

mattress's and sofas should be condemned.... no tv that work... they say fully contained kitchenette.. but you dont get anything to cook with... not even a pan to boil water

the toilets stink... and in typical brazilian fashion the drain in the bathroom is placed at the highest point of the floor... so when you clean the floor, all the water drains in the bedroom!!!!

i would not let the cleaners in, several guests were complaining of sticky fingered cleaners...

i am 5'11 medium build.. i could not sit on the toilet, they have put the toilet with 5 cms of clearance to the walls either side.... i had to use the lobby toliet for essential functions!!!

the area is surrounded by favallas, the area and the beach is lethal... saw 3 robberies and one stabbing in 8 days.....(same as all of fortaleza)

Stayed there in july 04 for 15 days. This is an appart-hotel belonging to the French brand Accor. The building seems to be modern and new but it is not.
The lobby, middle size is classical. It is an around 10 stored building and several appartements are private. The hotel appartements with a/c are small but the room is separate. A small kitchen is at your disposal, with fridge and some limited things to cook light dishes...The hotel is not directly on the beach as you have the road to cross but the view on the beach is lovely.
Every things is mostly clean, and the house keeper comes every days. It is not luxury but you feel good as the atmosphere is tropical. The guests are Brazilian business men and some european tourists. A little sized swimming pool, is out door on the 1 st floor. Next door, you have the small breakfast room, crowded , between 7 and 9 am. The choice is limited, and service is not among the best.
Staff is not so welcoming and not so helpfull...
The place is ok during the day but not sure at all on the evening; so take a taxi or your own car, as the parking provide (safe) is free of charge.
