I rolled into Antigo on a Friday night and simply needed somewhere to stay. Looking for somewhere that looked decent, I decided on the Days Inn based on having a few friends in the city and knowing that it had just opened. Turns out that this property had changed hands a few times in the past and had just opened as a Days Inn after being an independent hotel under a different name for a number of years. Walking into the lobby I found a decently kept hotel, although i did see quite a few things that could have used a bit of tending to (employees or managers kids were in the lounge or breakfast area sitting on floor watching TV, front desk was not very tidy, things were taped up everywhere, looked kinda cheap) but other than a few things, the place looked nice. I got a single smoking room which turned out to be handicapped (i did not need such a room) and I believe a king size bed. the room was fairly substantial but other things as far as supplied items (cable, toiletries) were fairly sparse. Also turned out internet was not working at time but I could deal with it as it was only a one night stay.
All in all I would have to say that I would probably take another place over this in the future. Granted I have not stayed there in a while and the complaints that I did have may have been solved as they were going through a "transition" at the time, but I don't know for sure. If you're looking for a quick night, this place has it.
