I really enjoy my stay. All stall was very kind and friendly. Breackfast was great!

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful hotel. It is pretty well located, not on the beach but very close to it; in fact our room was ocean view. It is on Ondina Beach, about 20 miles from the airport. There are plenty of restaurants, coffee shops and stores nearby. The hotel is in very good shape, we were told it was recently refurbished, the wood decoration and the balconies make it very nice. We got a studio with a double bed, air conditioned, phone, cable t.v., minibar, digital safe and hairdryer. We stayed at the executive floor so we had free wireless internet access as well. The best part of the executive floor service was it’s executive lounge, it was very nice and they offered a complimentary breakfast buffet, cocktails and evening snacks; besides there was a business center which we used to stay in touch with our families and offices. This hotel offers three specialty restaurants and two bars. The food was great and the best part was the affordable prices! My husband loved the seafood with this African touch that turned it into a unique surprise…. The lobby bar cafe is nice but the staff makes it even better, they are so friendly and thoughtful… If you visit Salvador Bahia, you must spend an afternoon at Pelourinho, the historic quarter which is a 10 minute drive from the hotel; it is a UNESCO world heritage site with baroque churches, colorful houses all showing the African influence… This hotel is also close to Rio Vermelho, another area you should not miss; it offers a vibrant nightlife, cafes, restaurants, boutiques and shopping malls. If you just feel tired and want to take a break enjoy the beautiful swimming pool, have a drink and just rest. If you stay at this place you won’t regret.

Restaurant is a bit to expensive for Brasilia, food was good, but i would suggest to go some where else.

I´ve stayed at a few hotels in Salvador but this is by far the best. I really loved the location, close to Rio Vermelho and the wonderful Barra. The room I stayed in was the most beautyful room I´ve seen in all my travels, but it wasn´t the room it self that was beautyful it was the view. Fantastic right by the ocean, with a view all the way to ferrol da barra. I would recommend this hotel to anyone just because of the view in the room. I really liked the people working there aswell. At the reception was an older senhora ( i forgot her name =( ) that was really helpful with all my needs but it seems like the staff was friendlier when I spoke to them in portuguese than in english. Another person working there that got my attention was Joao. He was working at the restaurant at breakfast and by the pool by day. This guy really needs a raise because he did everything superb. Serving drinks, finding towels and helping us to find restaurants in the city. If anyone at the hotel reads this send my regards to him from Fredrik and Adriana da suecia. There weren´t many bad things about the hotel mainly small things, for example at the breakfast serving there were very often a long wait to get an omelett or a pancake one morning I had to wait almost 20 minutes for my pancake. But that is a minor problem. There is however one big problem at this hotel and that is the lack of internet there. There was no internet on the room and they had a wireless connection in the lobby. Why not install this wireless connection in the rooms? It´s not a big cost and it would really help out the many tourists who doesn´t know the city well...
But overall it was a great stay, and I will return for the worldcup 2014 and hopefully there will be an internet connection in room 415 wich I will try to stay in again...
