I've just spent 7 nights in Costa do Sauipe Park and frustration was complete. Do not even know where to start.
1) Reception: service is poor since the arrival, where a poor person with goodwill, "Gil", receives dozens of guests alone in an improvised table in the middle of the lobby. Any problem is never solved by a manager ... at least I never found one on duty. Once I was received by a person named "Alinne." She knew only to say that the manager was not duty and she could not help me.
2) Restaurant: requires lots of patience. You will "fight" for tables, dishes, cutlery, to get food ... ahh the food ... good luck. Without any consistency. Yet several times I watched guests entering the kitchen to ask if the trays were going to be replenished. If you like plastic cups ... you will be home. And because the capacity is not enough for all guests, they improvised again using a room next to it. Disgusting! The moldy walls, without illumination and with an unbearable smell.
3) Maintenance: I heard that the complex is for sale, which may explain the poor maintenance. Cracked walls, missing tiles in swimming pools, sun chairs filthy, torn umbrellas, and even the bridge between the hotel and the pool has many parts falling.
4) Beach: nature did its part, but unfortunately the hotel does not offer you any service there and maybe that's why few people spend time on the beach. A few chairs, but nothing more. No beer, water, towel or any recreational activity. If they were to offer any service, they could perhaps relieve the over crowded pools a bit.
5) Bar: Sauipe Park's pool is unfortunate. It has a terrible odor (including urine) and the surrounding area with its filthy. The staff does what it can to meet demand, but is visibly in a number of employees less than the need required. Do not expected fancy or elaborated drinks. And if what you ask for is available, just consider yourself lucky.
6) Absurds: a) the cost of internet is R$ 30 per day. And if someone says that a free network is available at the lobby, do not believe. b) for a complex that has hundreds of rooms ... in the lake area / Sauipe Nautica they offer one pedal boat to the thousands of guests. And many activities have restricted times. c) Internal transport service is a shame. They announce that they come around every 25 minutes!! Many times the buses are crowded with many people standing. Prepare for a lot of waiting. d) the greatest of all .... if you decide to use a transfer not authorized by them, it will not be allowed to enter the vehicle in the complex. You will be required to take the bus, wait for it to go around the complex with many stops until it drops you at the main entrance. With this nonsense I lost 50 minutes!!
7) Free dinner in Vila Nova Beach: In theory, guests who stay for more than 3 nights are entitled to a dinner at a restaurant in Vila Nova Praia. However, for this to happen, you need to book at the same day before 2pm. Unfortunately, the answer I received was that every time there was no longer availability. They will offer you the Japanese restaurant. I could not decipher whether it was incompetence or pure mischief. I went to one without a reservation and paid it out of my pocket ... There was plenty of room. If you end up in the "Italian" will be well served by the Messias.
8) Room: The odor of mold impact you at first. I had to ask to exchange the bedding because I believed that was there before my arrival. And the employees take the card that would keep the air conditioning running ... probably to save energy. On the first day, there was no hot water.
In summary, I thought I was going to high level resort but the experience was far from it.
I am sure you will find better options.
