I found this place - $58/night - couldn't believe it ... I showed up & the hospitality was wonderful. The view of the Mississippi - bluffs right behind you. Quaint stores - cute looking restaurants within walking distance. Sweet little town. Connie (the owner of Felice Patra) made you feel like you were welcomed home. You were made to feel more than just a guest. I have spread the words to my friends in & now am happy to share with you, this place is a wonderful stay. I must admit - I laughed when the train roared by - I should of known the Mississippi has the train route. It just topped it off to old-fashion American living. Next time I go back - it wont be alone.
For all bikers - this is a great place to stay - your on rt. 35 - bluffs on one side, river on the other & Connie makes you feel like your home.

We found this place after biking around the Bluff county of Wisconsin. It was just what we wanted. Right on the Mississippi river with the trains going by. Three rooms share a bathroom, the fourth has their own. There is a small kitchen in the middle. The owner is a sweetheart. The house is a bit avant garde, so don't expect everything to work perfectly A nice tray of fruit and bread with coffee and juice was the continental breakfast. We paid $58 for our room. We had a great time, it's a lovely place. Alma"s a great town to hang out.
