“Bad service no heat in room”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 January 2012

Stayed at this hotel because there was a power outage in our neighborhood due to very bad snow storm. The room they gave us had no heat, so my husband called down to office and they sent up someone to fix it, he said it was fixed so we went to bed and woke up freezing around 6am. Called down again and they sent another person in to fix heater and he said that it was broke! So called down again and asked what we could do to fix this and Sara -- was very rude, told me that we had already stayed in the room and was acting like we were crazy! So I was very unhappy and told her so and instead of helping us she called the cops on us and had us kicked out because we wanted heat in our room. They gave us a refund after they called the cops on us but all they really had to do was give us another room!

Hello, Christy P. I am sorry that you did not have a pleasant guest experience when you stayed with us during the storm last week. I realize that it was an extreme inconvenience for you to have your heater fail and that is precisely the reason that I refunded your night's stay in full. Based on the severity of the storm, my staff tried feverishly to make sure that everyone staying with us that night was comfortable. I am sorry they did not fulfill your expectations.

“A good alternative to Tacoma”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 October 2011

It's about 8-12 miles from Tacoma, but this place is worth the drive. Very clean, good price and breakfast included. Also, I love the peace and quiet.

“Great value for the price!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 September 2011

I loved this place!! They serve cookies at 6 pm, they have a full breakfast in the morning (make your own waffles, etc.), they have a hot tub (had been driving ALL DAY), it's clean, the staf was awesome, I got a great price on my room, and the location was nice being downtown but not on the main drag. I will stay there again for sure if I go back to Auburn. We went to the Santana show and a number of people at the hotel that night were also going so that was fun. It's nowhere close to the Ampitheatre, but nothing is! haha. I loved this place and was so pleasantly surprised when we got there. :)

“Best hotel I've stayed at in a long time!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 September 2011

Everyone was very friendly here. And the room was very clean and comfortable and had a small refrigerator and microwave, which was very helpful. The location of the hotel made it very easy to get to the Seattle area or south to the Mt Rainier area.

The breakfast was fresh every morning and included hot items like fresh waffles, breakfast sandwiches, and even biscuits and gravy, along with the cold cereals, yogurt, breads, and muffins. The whole wheat bread was the best I've had in a long time. There was even ice water and coffee in the lobby at all times, and they had cookies in the afternoons.

The thing I liked best was that the hotel felt very comfortable. The thing I liked the least was the faucet in the bathroom sink was hard to turn on. But I mentioned that to the manager, who thanked me for my helpful comment.

We would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: If you want no smoking, ask for a room on the first floor. The entire first floor is totally nonsmo...

“Exceeded Expectation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 August 2011

The price we paid for a room with two queen beds was very reasonable which also included breakfast. Although our room was right across from the elevator and behind a vending machine, we didn't hear any noise from the neighbours nor the vending machine and elevator. In our family vacation trip, we stayed in Red Lion, Olympia and Super8, Woodburn before this hotel, and we could say without a doubt this hotel was the best by quite a margin. The best part was their complementary breakfast which could be called breakfast deluxe compared to Supper8's. There were three kinds of juices, coffee and hot chocolate (my kids' favorite), an assortment of breads and English muffin, cereals, and soup with biscuit. We even made our own waffle (with two kinds of syrups) and sausage-and-egg muffins (there was a limit of 2 per person). The breakfast room was super clean and adorably decorated with flowers. If you happen to visit Auburn, you owe it to yourself and your wallet to give this hotel a try.

Jsocan!

I love that you were able to experience a few other hotels prior to ours... that speaks volumes to travelers who don't want to hassle with anything less than the best.

Savvy consumers know value when they see it. When choosing a hotel, there is more to consider than just rate. Does the hotel offer free Wi-Fi? Does it include a scrumptious, hot, deluxe breakfast?

Ours certainly does- guaranteed.
