“Great place to crash for the night”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 April 2011

I was here as a volunteer driver for a senior citizen's activity. We had a nice stay. The rooms are pretty standard, but they were clean and the beds comfortable. The staff was quite nice to us, especially as we were a fair sized group. It's easy to get to shopping, the freeway, and Muckleshoot Casino from this property. I'd stay here again if I'm ever in the Auburn area.

“Pleasant, clean and inexpensive”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 March 2011

I stayed here for one night in early March, 2011. The location is convenient about a mile or two off the freeway.

The room was kind of plain, but had a coffeemaker, microwave and small refrigerator. The heater worked fine and was necessary this time of year. My price with AARP was only $70 plus tax, which was probably a winter rate. The internet worked fine.

Breakfast wasn't much. I guess I'd call it a basic continental. There was coffee, juice (I think), little muffins, cereal. I didn't see any fruit but there might have been some. There was a place to make your own hot waffles.

There are several different restaurants located within easy walking distance and my colleague and I chose to walk over to Applebee's for dinner, which was very good.

Overall nothing fancy but I'd stay here again.

Staff was very friendly. Gave me directions to where I was going without asking. Room was very comfortable and clean. I even asked for late check out and they didn't charge me. I will defiently stay again and would recommend to anyone.

“A trip to the waterslides with my granddaughter”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 August 2009

we booked at Comfort Inn after reading the reviews, (on tripadvisor) about the "other" nearby hotels. It was $109 vs $89, but worth it. Easy to find, clean and comfortable and no noises from other quests. Roomed over the entrance on the 3rd floor. Having a window was nice, fresh air. It's near the industrial area so there is trucking noises and a train passing by now and then but it was peaceful ambiance. We dined at Applebees both nights. Great food, great service and reasonable..We went to the water slides during the day and there's a drive inn theater close by with 6 double features..The complimentary breakfast was until 10 but they pulled it early because we had to find the pastry cart in the hallway at 9. There's only 1lugguge dolly and unfortunately the lady using it, ( i call her that out of courtesy), loaded her stuff on it, then sat down at the hotel computer for 35 min. and we had to finally ask her to unload. Other then that it was a peaceful, comfortable stay.

“Very Standard Place”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 November 2008

We stayed at this property because of its #1 ranking here.

The first room we were offered reeked of stale cigarette smoke. When I complained, we were moved us to a non-smoking room.

Our room was decorated in the standard for low-end, mid-range motels and it had all the amenities except a table and chairs and a comfortable mattress.

The TV was old-fashioned and offered few channels.

Young people attending a band competition in Auburn were roaming the halls, but they went to their rooms and quieted down when I reported the disturbance to the desk at 11:30 p.m.

We were awakened at 6:30 a.m. by an alarm set by a previous occupant of our room.

Breakfast was bare bones, with the items mentioned in other reviews but no yogurt, no peanut butter, and no hot item except waffles. Apples were the only fruit.

The staff is professional and the motel is acceptable but which a large casino and a race track nearby, it is dismaying if this is the best place to stay in the area.
