thought of staying there again until..
i stayed there recently and 4 days after i checked out an additional fee came up on my bank account for $50. after calling them to ask about it they said the room i had stayed in had been closed off since we had checked out because the room smelled so bad of cat urine. we have a 5 lbs chihuahua. first off, cat and dog pee smell differently. second, our dog only peed 3 times (on a potty pad) while we were there. the room had already smelled like pet upon first entering the room..i thought that was normal since they usually have pet designated rooms that will always have some trace of pet scents. thinking that, i had only reported the hole that was on the bathroom door. after check out, housekeeping did not report any issues with the room and it was maintenance that had when they came to fix the bathroom door, i presume. but how long has that room smelled like that and no one has reported it? now i'm getting charged for it? the carpet already looked soiled. now they're talking about how they need to get the carpet replaced and i may get charged up to $200. if there were torn carpets, i could say that could have been my dog..i find it impossible for such a small dog to make a 2 queen-size bed room smell as bad as they're claiming just by being there for 16 hours at the most. i've stayed in a comfort inn for 2 weeks with a non-potty trained puppy of the same size and had no issues with any smells. better off spending extra money elsewhere.
