“The perfect place for the hunter/cozy get away!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 January 2012

We go back every year for spring bear hunting. This is our 3rd year, and I would not stay anywhere else!! We stay for 4-5 nights usually. The staff is amazing, and the rooms are perfect. It's nice to come back from a 12+ hour day of hunting to a nice/cozy/VERY clean room. In the mornings before the long day of hunting, it's nice to start the day off relaxing on the porch with a good cup of coffee looking at the river.
Everyone goes above and beyond to make our stay a wonderful experience.

Room Tip: Room #1 is a little noisy. I prefer to stay in our lucky room #4. If they are booked when you call...

“A delight!”

I stayed for one night for business in the area. There was a horrible rain storm so it was a cozy place to ride out the winds.

The hotel is adorable, spotless and tastefully decorated and appointed. There's even free Wireless Internet!! Yippee!!

During the storm, I was brought extra blankets and camping lanterns in case the power went out. When I mentioned that the room was still cold after cranking the heater, I was given a space heater. Actually, the space heater wasn't even necessary. The room's heat is slow, but definitely effective!

I gave a 4 instead of a 5 because I would have loved a microwave in the room. There's a microwave in the lobby, but during a terrible rainstorm it would have been wonderful to nuke my meal in my room without having to get bundled up and facing howling winds.

I look forward to more business trips to the area to be able to stay here again!! LOVED it.

“Great little motel, but no fishing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 January 2012

I stayed at this great little motel during a family road trip this summer. It is in a tiny town set well back from a small highway and is right on the river. The motel, while offering very few amenities, is spotless and quite comfortable. If you want to get away from the corporate hotel/motel environment and step back in time, this is it. My only regret is that fishing was not allowed in the river near the motel as it is owned by a local native American tribe.

“Quinault River Inn”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 December 2011

We spent a weekend, due to over booking at the Lake Quinault Lodge and other local resorts. We by chance came upon this nice little Inn on the Quinault River in Amanda Park. We were so pleased. It was not overly commercial and a wonderful quiet place to spend our time. The rooms were clean and the staff were just wonderful. It is located on the Quinault River and has a restaurant in the area, next door so to speak. The location was close to all the local activites and attractions. The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to make us feel at home and comfortable. The rate were extremely reasonable especially considering the rates of the other near by resorts. They were also pet friendly. I would definitely book again with them regardless of the other resort availabilty.

Room Tip: All seem to have a river and/or lake view.

“Disappointed”

We stayed in 2 rooms at QRI.
After having read the reviews, I suppose I expected more.
The 8 motel rooms are okay, but the bathroom is ridiculously small, the beds not very comfortable, but the worst part is that it is not quiet. Inside the walls are very thin.
There is a policy of being quiet from 10pm till 8 am, but if you are in a room next to a family with young children you will experience a lot of noise, and nobody can forbid people with young children to leave before 8 am.
Also outside it is noisy, because the motel is right next to the highway.
The fitness room was closed in the morning.
After all the other accommodations we had this trip, we found QRI too expensive for what it offers.
Next time I would stay really on the lake.
