Great location many restaurants around. Close to I-95. Recently remodeled room interiors, they were fresh and clean. Wifi broken when we checked in but fixed in the morning. Large 25" tv but channel selection was poor. There was no HBO as in other locations.

Let's be certain that this is not a hotel to go for a week's luxurious stay.
But if you're driving down I-95 and need a break I would definitely recommend this place!
I have stayed at many of the motels on the I-95 North & South, and this Motel 6 was reasonably priced and clean!
There wasn't a flat screen TV or upscale decorations however the furniture seemed to be recently updated (definitely resemble an Ikea look) and the room was very clean! Very comfortable mattress and clean linen (which is the most important thing to me when staying at a motel on the road)
We checked in early in the morning after a long drive, and were told we could check out by 11AM the following day.
The front desk employees and maintenance were very friendly and overall I felt pretty safe.
They also accept pets and we travel with our dog (no extra fee)
I don't know what the other guests that left comments are use to when traveling on I-95 but for the price I think this is definitely as good as it gets.
They offer free WIFI and have an out door swimming pool. they are also near restaurants and gas stations. I also didn't hear any trains but I'm not a light sleeper, & maybe it depends on what room you're in.

I had read that Motel 6 had completely redone their motels and that you could expect an "Ikea-ization" of the beds, dressers,and other interior furnishings. Well, not at Ashland! The manager on duty and his assistant were very sweet and solicitous but they couldn't make up for the dingy atmosphere, the lack of interior lighting, the broken Wi-Fi that took an hour to unkink and the broken faucets that sprayed water horizontally so they misted your upper arms when you used them. When I was ready to leave early in the am, the manager on duty wasn't allowed to let me in the Lobby until 6:30-7 am. Not confidence-inspriring! I will say the room was cheap enough (39.99 plus tax) but don't go for anything but a cheap place to put your head for a few hours. Not worth a return trip.
