I stayed for several days while I attended a conference at the hotel. Overall, it was a good experience. The staff were very attentive and accommodating (including changing my booking details at the last minute)
The room was nice and the bed was pretty heavenly (plenty of pillows and comfortable bedding, making it hard to get up for my morning meetings.) There was a big flat screen TV. Some of the rooms have an amazing view of DC, so try to get one of those if possible. I had a view of the parking lot, but still there was a balcony.
The conference room upstairs has stunning views. Even if you aren't using it, take a trip to the top floor to check it out.
The food we were served was consistently good. There's a Starbucks in the hotel for guests to grab a quick breakfast. I didn't have a chance to try the restaurant so I can't comment on that. There's a nice, quiet bar on the first floor and plenty of comfortable seating.
The gym is small but has everything you need for a decent workout. It opens early, which is a plus (I was in the pool by 6am!)
The location is good, though there's not much right near the hotel. This was off-putting at first but it's only a 10min walk to the metro to DC and Georgetown is a reasonable walk away.
The only downsides were the lack of internet and the temperature of the hotel. You have to pay extra for internet in the room and I expected free WIFI from this type of hotel. Conference participants were given a free code but it only worked in the conference rooms upstairs. There's free WIFI in the lobby.
I stayed in August but it was FREEZING in the hotel, especially upstairs. Seriously, some of the conference participants were wrapped in blankets.
Overall, a good hotel in a good location! I would probably stay here again, though if traveling on my own dime I might try to find something cheaper.
Room Tip: Try to get a room with a view of the city!
