Great location, walking distance to Pentagon, 2 metro stops, Pentagon City Center Mall. I've stayed here before and find the north/south tower with different level access to the lobbies a little confusing. You have to know which tower you are in and then find the right elevator, doesn't sound hard, just a pain. Parking is expensive, but the going rate. The rotating restaurant is a great place to have desert and see DC. I stated in a remodeled room and was very pleased. During the construction the breakfast buffet was not available, but order from the menu. Food was good, again, expensive, but going rate for this kind of hotel in DC. Once the remodeling is done, this will be a great place to stay again.

I stayed here both during renovations and after renovations....what a difference a number of months make...

Stayed here each time for 2 nights, and I couldn't of been more impressed...

The view from the top of the hotel in the Revolviing Restuarant is awesome, you make a 360 degree tour in about 10 minutes...the staff at the restuarant is great, the hotel staff was very prompt, even though they were having computer issues they still kept a smile on their face...

Had a room that faced the Pentagon and Washington Monument...

Make sure to ask for your Breakfast coupons if your a Hilton Diamond Member, I had to both times, because if not, it is a hefty charge for breakfast, I just wanted a banana and bowl of cereal and without coupons it would of been $12.95...they also have a Starbucks coffee in the lobby area as well..

The shuttle is great, there are two different ones..one goes to/from airport & one goes to/from Crystal City Mall (where Metro is located)..very efficient, you can also walk it if you want, about a 10 minute walk, but very safe and nice when you want some exercise...

Would stay there again...

Stayed here with friends while visiting DC. The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. The staff are cordial and eager to help.

The location is good as most of DCs major attractions like the Capitol, Smithsonian museums are just a few miles way.

Overall a memorable stay, quite unbelievable for the price!

My son was recently married at the Doubletree Hotel in Crystal City, and the Hotel staff could not have been nicer or more accomodating. We rented a small party room for the ceremony (the Van Buren Room), and we booked a double suite for the newlyweds (and Hospitality suite) on the 12th floor, overlooking the Washington DC skyline. It was beautiful, both the (newly renovated) suites, and the panoramic view of Washington DC from the balcony. The staff treated us like royalty, and the kids had a great experience. I highly recommend this Hotel.

The Skydome restaurant was another matter altogether, but I'll save that for another review.
