My husband and I stayed here in November 2011 for two nights. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was average, but the breakfast room has a nice view of DC. Good restaurants are within a 10-minute walk, as is the metro stop, so getting into DC and to National airport is quick and easy.

We had a comfortable stay here while sight-seeing the museums in DC. The Metro is within walking distance so the truck stayed parked for the duration of our stay (yea!). Our room had a separate bedroom, which was very comfortable & quiet. Our son had a rollaway bed -- the first one was missing some springs and wasn't comfortable but they got us a replacement quickly. It was much better. The room also had a large sitting area, kitchen table & full kitchen. As a bonus the hotel had free breakfast (it was okay) as well as a light supper. We tried dinner our first night and then opted to eat out the remainder of the week. Simply too many folks trying to eat at the same time and the food quality was unimpressive. There are many excellent restaurants within walking distance. The staff were friendly & helpful, although one had to wait at times for them to finish handling the phones and other guests. Overall, we would stay here again because it's a great value and comfortable.

This hotel is amazing from when you first enter. The location near the Court House Metro makes it a great spot to stay. Complimentary breakfast during the morning and complimentary dinner at night is always delicious - especially if you've spent the entire day out and don't feel like going out to eat. The rooms are spacious with big beds, complimentary wi-fi, and a great television with sitting area. I loved having the small kitchen (with a stove and microwave!) so I can go buy something and make it in the hotel. Walking from the hotel, there's a small shopping area with a movie theatre, and if you're not interested in that, you can walk down Wilson Blvd and shop the town. When I come back to the DC area, I'm staying here again.

Been there twice, in 2009 and 2010, loved it both times.
Absolutely love the location - quiet, but close to metro with direct connection to downtown DC. The rooms are spacious, and I simply love the fact that they have a kitchennette. If you're into cooking, or if you're in for a longer stay, you can go to the Whole Foods shop in the neighborhood (15 min walk), stuff your fridge, and cook for yourself. Though, there are also some decent restaurants and cafes within the walking distance.
Breakfast buffet may not be the best, but okayish.
LOVE their beds, I think I've never slept better than there.
On certain days of the week they used to have complimentary dinner for the hotel guests, not sure if it's still valid.
THough I've been there for business, I always used to think it would be kind of great for a romantic get-away also...
