This hotel earned its 4-star rating with its excellent service. The staff was extremely accommodating and the facilities were excellent. The location was within walking distance of the Metro stop which would take you directly into DC.

We booked this hotel thru Hotwire (came up as four star hotel in Arlington) and paid $109 a night, so obviously we were happy with the price. Parking was an additional $22, but that's standard for this area. All in all, we were very happy with the hotel. The location is fantastic - two blocks from Metro, one block from a mall, walking distance to tons of restaurants, including some very nice ones. The rooms were clean and comfortable and well appointed. We had a king room that was actually quite large. We stayed for three days and did not use the pool, bar or restaurant at the hotel, so I can't say anything about them. But we would stay here again. Very convenient.

I've stayed at numerous Westin's around the country and this one is the second worst (Boston tops my list of worst stays). The hotel itself is uninspriring for a new hotel, the lobby is small and uncomfortable. The pool/hot tub closed early so that I was unable to make use of it during the operating hours. My bills was off by a factor of two- I had to get a significant number of fees removed (which they did with little hesitation).
The room was fine- standard Westin- nothing exciting. Overall, the stay was uninspiring but adequate.

The Westin was beautiful, but they don't seem very accomodating to business travelers. They charge for WiFi and the paper if you want it delivered to your room. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean, but I did not consider the hotel a good value.
