Great Locaiton, nothing spectacular in Hilton properties, was without water one evening, lounge crowded, conference service hap hazard in taking care of a board room type meeting. overall has flat screen TVs a decent workout facility, a reasonable Hilton choose for locaiton not for amenities.

The hotel has been refurbished. Probably fairly recently. I had a room on the Hilton Honors floor, and it still smelled a bit of paint and new carpet. Some of the furniture in the room is obviously "recycled". It is an old building though, and you can tell. Bathrooms are very small and the elevators are very slow. It is reasonably clean. The staff is pretty friendly. The best thing about this place is the location. It's a 3 minute walk to the Crystal City underground and a few more minutes to the METRO.

I needed to make a "mileage run" to DC for a day and had a 9 am arrival and a 6 am departure the next day, so wanted an inexpensive hotel near the airport and also convenient to DC so I could spend some quality time on the mall and in the museums. I settled on this hotel because it had good reviews, decent last-minute price, and its shuttle to the airport starts running at 5 am (many don't!).
I was pretty satisfied with what I ended up with. The staff was friendly and helpful. The shuttle picked me up quickly at DCA. They actually had a room ready and let me check in early. The Metro station is about 3 blocks away, so I made a couple of trips over the course of the day because it was so easy - and I needed a nap.
The room was OK - clearly a bit older if you look closely, but the linens were nice and the furniture was clean. If you're tall like me, you'll like that the shower head is higher than typical, though mine seemed to be a low-flow version. I was on the 9th floor and in the back, so didn't have much of a view.
Although I didn't have time to work out this trip, I checked out the fitness area and pool anyway. The equipment is pretty complete and the environment up there (12th floor) seemed clean and nice.
Overall I liked my stay here. I'm not a super-picky person and I was by myself, so "your mileage may vary."

Hotel itself is pretty typical of Crystal City facilities. Close to DCA with direct shuttles and easy metro access to DC itself.

My hotel room was a relatively clean, but did not think that the room had been updated in some time. Had a tiny closet with an equally small room safe. The mirror on the closet was cracked at the top. Bathroom was reasonably clean, but again, didn't think it had been all that well maintained. Room service was good. Bed was comfortable. Workspace was functional. Typical meeting rooms. Staff was friendly and professional.
