My most recent stay at this hotel was a very pleasant stay. The room was very large and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. The staff is excellent. They exceeded all expectations! The rate is an excellent value.I will be looking forward to my next stay..

We wanted to take a 3-day American history tour of Washington's many museums and this place suited our needs perfectly. Hotels in DC closer to the National Mall charged up to $40 per night just for parking. The Virginian Suites charged just $9 per night which we didn't have to pay because we have a Choice Privileges card. The kitchen was small, but very serviceable, with dishware, glassware and such so we could do a couple take-in dinners after a long day of sightseeing. Bed was comfortable and the whole room seemed well maintained.

The shuttle to the Rosslyn Metro station ran every 15 minutes which was very convenient for getting around without using the car. My only gripe was that it stopped running at 7:30 pm so if you went to dinner in Georgetown for instance, you had to make a short 15 min. walk (downhill) back to the hotel, but it wasn't too bad.

Arlington National Cemetary and the Marine Iwo Jima Memorial are also a short walk away and worth a visit while you're there.

My friends and i visited DC for a reunion. The hotel is a bit hard to find since it's tucked away from the city. The clerk Mohammed was great with directions, restaurants and clubs. Everything was within driving distance and they also have shuttle services to metro. I think the hotel also have residents that live there, since there were groups of family talking in the lobby. They made the hotel feel very safe and the older men and women were friendly. The hotel rooms wee larger than what i expected. I never thought would pay under !00 a night for an apartment style suites. Even though we didn't have a chance to explore the hotel, it has a pool and gym. Can't go wrong w/ a clean, quiet hotel, great atmosphere and good employees.

I stayed here three nights because I could not get into my usual hotel in DC. At first, I was a bit concerned as the walk to the Metro, while not far, is not easy (crossing a pedestrian bridge, about a half mile away etc.) but I'm glad I did.

I had a very comfortable, well appointed studio with a queen size bed and a kitchen. I didn't cook but it make it nice for bringing back takeout when I had to work. The room was spotless and the closet and bathroom were great.

There is a shuttle to the Metro so that made it easier to get there.

The staff was very professional and when I asked for a recommendation for a casual restaurant, the shuttle driver overheard and offered a ride. It was a nice service touch.

Breakfast was fine and the breakfast room is pleasant and well laid out. There's even an area where you can escape the TV. Overall, great value and I have a new place for my DC trips.
