I called to make a reservation at what I thought was a Holiday Inn Express, the person who answered the phone just said "hello". I asked if it was indeed a Holiday Inn Express and was told yes. I made my reservation and drove to the hotel. When I found out it was a Days Inn I was going to go somewhere else, but found out that a hold had been placed on my funds so I stayed. Instead of paying the $94.99 going rate for the room I was charged $199.99, after tax it came to $220.00. The room was large and comfortable, but the whirlpool tub had mold in the jets so it was unusable.
Breakfast the next morning was the usual fare of different breads, eggs, gravy, bacon, sausage, self made waffles (when there was batter), apples, juices and cereal. They kept running out of coffee and would only replenish the food items when someone asked. They also ran out of syrup.
This used to be a Holiday Inn Express, but had been sold and taken over by Days Inn that day.
There is no pool but there is an exercise room. The internet service was poor and kept dropping. There are NO ELEVATORS, and they do not tell you that it is a pet friendly hotel (not sure if it was before)
