Myself and my mother-in-law stayed at this hotel for 3 nights very clean rooms and lobby Ms Mills at the front desk was very friendly and helpful and Ms Corine who cleaned our room did a excellent job i would stay here again very quiet hotel easy walk to metro

We use this as a stopover point from NY to FL and have done so for several years because the location is convenient and they accept pets. The property has deteriorated so much that we have decided not to return there. They gave us a 2nd floor room (not particularly clean) where when we attempted to use the phone to ask for a wake up call, we found the phone had been ripped out of the wall. The sink faucet worked, but it was so loose, you had to hold it in place to turn the water on and off. Plus, the sink drain was broken in the closed position, so I had to pry it open and place a piece of a plastic cup to hold it open. To be fair, when we complained, they offered us another room, but we didn't want the inconvenience of moving all of our belongings again since we were only staying overnight. On checkout, we found that the elevator was now out of order and so we had to walk everything downstairs to the car. Not a hardship for me, but my husband has difficulty walking. When we initially checked in, I told the receptionist about my husband's disability, but she said it was no problem because they have an elevator. They took $40 off our bill when my husband voiced his complaints. This hotel is badly in need of maintenance.

The Red Roof Plus is a decent hotel. The wifi worked, the room was clean. There's no food or drink nearby, so I'd have liked a room coffee pot (or even one in the lobby?)...but the price was awesome!!

It'd have been helpful to get accurate directions to the nearby metro Huntington metro station, but hey, good nighttime desk help is hard to find. But the price was awesome for a DC-area hotel!

I'd return, but with a few amenities, I'd willingly upgrade my rating. Otherwise a great hotel for the price-sensitive.

Room tip: it's perhaps a 3/4 mile walk to the Huntington Metro. I enjoyed the walk; children would not. Plus crossing Richmond Hwy was most...exciting.

My husband and I stayed at this in September of 2014. All hotels were booked in this area, as we needed to be near Arlington. This hotel was not only inexpensive, but pet friendly, clean and most convenient to restaurants, old Alexandria, Arlington, Crystal City, Pentagon City.

King room was spotless, odorless and so comfortable.

I recommend this hotel to the alternative high priced hotels nearby.

Restaurants are within 1.5 miles - Chilis, Applebees, Famous Daves, Dominos Pizza

Room tip: WE stayed in a deluxe king room. Even though this hotel is on a highway, there was no noise. Even with all the pets I saw being walked, the hotel was so quiet.

I stayed at this particular Red Roof Inn for nearly (3) weeks and while the hotel was decent and clean for the most part, If you have a problem or issue don't expect anyone to be there to help you and the Hotel Manager was extremely rude and very arrogant! I made several complaints as well as wrote letters to corporate and so far have not even gotten as much ad a repsonse back. Before this I had used Red Roof for several years but certainly plan on staying other places from now on. The Internet was consistently out and mo one cared or as much as tried to compensate for this considerable inconvenience. I was also overcharged and still do not have the money back on my card. I would urge ANYONE thinking of staying in this Hotel to absolutely think twice and DON'T put yourself in the same terrible position I found myself in. I am easygoing and very laid back and it would at the time been so easy to make.my stay better and feel better about the whole situation & but they could care less how you feel especially the extraordinary rude site manager.
