We stayed here for a 4 day family trip to DC the first week of Aug. It was easy to find. The Metro was a pleasant and safe 10 minute walk down Wythe. We parked the car for the entire trip. The blue line took us to all the sights we wanted to see. On the return metro ride, go one stop south past Braddock Road (the stop to get back to the Travel Lodge) and go to King Street, take the free trolley to the pier and a multitude of shops/restaurants. We ate at Bugsys, a pizza place, that was fantastic! The room we stayed in was snug, but clean, no bugs, and met all our needs of a good night's rest after walking to many wonderful sites. We requested a fridge and got one without a problem. The only down side is the breakfast. Only two choices of cereal, bagels, toast, and juice/coffee. It served the purpose of saving us breakfast expense and filled us. Nothing special, but adequate. We were able to park our car on the last day past our check out time as we went into the city one more time. Our family of four very much enjoyed the room and would stay here again!
