We were traveling to the DC area for a conference near Capitol Hill and a visit to our daughter in Arlington. This hotel offered a nice comprimise to the two locations. The facility was a bit older, but kept up nicely. Our suite had a mini-kitchen, a quality 40 inch TV and comfortable bed. We were surprised when we got there to find that they offer a complimentary dinner Monday - Thursday evenings complete with beer or wine. The night we were there they were serving lasagna with a side salad. Since we already had dinner plans we didn't try it, but it looked good. They also have a complimentary buffet breakfast which we did enjoy. It had the standard cold offerings as well as scrammbled eggs, bisquits and sausage gravy, and a waffle maker.
I wish the property was closer to the Metro line. We got to the station before 8 AM and found the last parking place in the lot. Parking for the metro is about $4.50 a day. The motel does offer shuttle service to the Metro.
Other amenities included an outdoor pool (too cold for that in January), a mini market with microwaveable food and snacks, exercise room, etc. I thought the price was a bit on the high side, but if you took advantage of the free meal, it would balance out nicely.
