I am actually still staying at this hotel as this review is being written. I selected this hotel primarily due to it's location, which is very good. But, that's about the only good thing I have to say. My first indication that this was not going to be a very pleasant stay was when I noticed a man in a stained white t-shirt having a very loud conversation with what I think was his wife in my room's hallway. For the next few hours, every time I went to and from my room I'd see the same man standing in the hallway. It was weird. I don't know if it's just my floor (the top floor), but a lot of people leave their doors partially open, play loud music, and need to be in the hallway to have loud conversations at almost 10pm on a Wednesday night. I feel like I'm in the ghetto...

It is nice place to stay.good bed. TV is not working properly.not much utensils for cooking.

I have stayed at the Alexandria Homestead Inn & Suites numerous times. Optimal location, great value, friendly staff. Have recommended this place to colleagues with very positive feedback

Hotel was clean, friendly and near Metro for traveling!. The only thing that I would've liked to have had was a swimming pool and arcade area, nothing for kids to do so my daughter got bored, other than that the staff was exceptional and the hotel safe and clean! Also there are no resaurants with-in walking distance. I would suggest having coffee available for short stays .
