My son and I stayed here for a week in July 2011 while in town on business. The room was very clean and quiet even though we were on the first floor near the elevators, the service was GREAT, and the food in the morning/evening was good. The staff was VERY nice and helpful! The location was very convenient to stores and restaurants. It's also very close to Old Town - which is AMAZING!!! I would highly recommend this hotel!

This hotel makes you feel like your home from the pool table in the lobby area to the very comfortable suites with a nice little kitchenette including dishwasher. If you forget to load the dishwasher, the maid takes care of it for you. The complementary breakfast is one of the best that I have seen and it is done 7 days a week. Even though the hotel is a little inconvenient for Washington siteseeing, I would definitely stay again. The staff goes out of their way to help plan excursions into DC or anything else that you need.

Convenient location near I-395 which takes you right to the Mall if driving. Only 15-20 minute ride by car or hotel shuttle to King St. Metro station (King St. and Leesburg Pike are the same road once outside of Old Town Alexandria). Hotel shuttle runs from 8 AM - Noon and 3 PM-8PM for people using the Metro. Fairly quiet residential-like location with several restaurants/fast food nearby (a McDonald's across the street). Rooms were generally quiet and comfortable definitely making you feel at home. Breakfast was very good with a variety of foods from a hot egg dish, sausage or bacon, waffles, cereals, fruit, breads/bagels and juices. Nice open and roomy area for the breakfast. They did have muffins and danish which were not very good. If you stay Mon. - Thurs. the hotel has an evening 'meal' of some kind included in the room price and the menu for each month is posted on the room's refrigerator. Menu seems to vary from things like chicken marsala and broccoli to hotdogs and baked beans. Overall pleased with the service and accommodations.

The staff was so friendly and helpful, the rooms and lobby were immaculate and the included breakfast was excellent!
