In town to do the Creeper Bike Trail...Should of listened to prior comments..This place is gross dirty. Mold, dust, finger prints, dirty wash cloth on side of bed. My sister turned on the air and there was so much dust and mold we turned it back off. Found food behind the bed. My bed keep moving cause the maitress and box springs wouldn't line up were 2 different sizes. The furniture and walls had food and goop all over them. Tissue box looked like it had a booger on the outside of it. Heed warning don't let them put you up on the hill..That is where the construction workers stay and they don't clean these room very well at all. I wouldn't even put my suitcase on the floor or chairs they were gross. We would of moved but no rooms anywhere to be had...We only slept here got up and out and stayed out till it was time to go to sleep again. Our friends stayed in the rooms down below near the office and they were a lot better..Dirty but not gross!!!! They did make up our beds everyday but no toilet paper and coffee..Had to go to office when we needed them. That's about all they did was make beds..Their cleaning crew needs to be trained on how to dusk, etc. Cob webs and dirty lamp shades too!! Sure looks nothing like the pictures on their web site.....

This is the second time I have stayed at the Days Inn in Abingdon, Virginia. This motel is average. The room is clean, but looks a little bit shabby because of the age of the building and decor.

The free breakfast constists of waffles, cereal, coffee, juice and baked goods.

I will probably stay at this hotel again simply because of the price. It is hard to beat $50 a night. Other hotels in the area cost around $80 a night.

Our room had a comfortable bed, unfortunately there wasn't a matteress cover. I felt uncomforable sleeping on the mattress with only a thin sheet for separation. The room also had a small couch and table which provided a nice seating area.

The room also had a microwave and mini frig.

Bad hotel experience. Large spider web complete with furry spider over vanity. Large furry spider between pillows. There was a large moist stain in the middle of one of the beds. It was late so two grown men shared a double bed. Half of the lights did not work. Good location off interstate but the hotel grossed us out.

My mother always told me "you get what you pay for". I learned last weekend that $50 does not buy a clean bathroom, a smoke free room or a good nights sleep. Next time I am in the area I will spend the extra $20 for a three start hotel and peace of mind that I am not coming home with cooties....
