If you like to take refuge from your hectic city life or personal problems, the best place to do in Barsen House Inn. The owners, Daphne and Pete, are very open-minded and hospitable people and they are so very much attentive and supporting to your vacation preferences and plans. This inn is quite small, only three guest bedrooms, so you get personal attention you would not find in any other place. The house is artistically and comfortably done with a very beautiful garden outside; every window in the house creates a perfect picture of nature as a border-less extension outside. Walk in the garden immediately calms you down and brings into a blissful meditation. The rooms are impeccable with very comfortable bathroom. Every night is a soft dream.
Every chair inside or outside (some of them made by Pete and represent an incredible craftsmanship) embraces you gently and you gradually fall asleep on a book you are unsuccessfully trying to read. When the sun goes down Pete masters the campfire under the stars. With a glass of wine and fire under the open sky you feel yourself a celestial being.
I know it might sound childish but I also have to share my fascination with Barsen’ chicken house that is so well thought and incredibly cute like a little toy home surrounded by vegetables and flowers. I have never even seen a chicken house to be so clean, efficient and still so beautiful. It made me wish to move to country and to raise my own chickens when retired. By the way, there is no roaster here; and sleep is quite. Fresh eggs for breakfast; and you can get lucky to pick your own!!! I highly recommend Barsen House and I am sure you will find your own fascination here because it is a unique place.
