I am frequent guest - consultant for state office in austin. Desk clerks are very interested in being helpful to me and making sure that my stay is as comfortable as possible - Tim - has been particularly effective in that way. The other day I could not print because the printer was down in the business area - lady manager came by and asked me if she could be of help - she took me into hotel office so i could print document that was essential for me to review.

Wanda - morning host in the executive floor lounge is always so helpful and pleasant. She takes her work very seriously and puts pride into everything she does. She makes everyone feel welcome and anticipates their needs/wishes. Excellent! BTW - please ask cook to not send sandwiches/cheddar cheese - prefer regular eggs/bacon or french toast/sausage. Others up there that are regulars such as me - do not like the biscuit sandwiches. The assortment of fruit, drinks, etc. is welcomed.

I prefer staying at Crown Plaza in austin because of the excellent service/friendly hotel personnel there. I've stayed there probably at least probably 15 nights in the past few months. the location is also excellent for getting to state office as well as good access in/out of town on 290 to 130 loop.
Recomended changes:
1. extension cord beside bed for 3-pronged computer cord - like to work with my feet up/laptop and plug in cell phone charger at same time.
2. remote that has sleep timer.
3. TV volumne is too loud - many channels are automatically too loud to even have on. Set each TV so remote will turn volume lower than "10".
4. Some pillows are getting a little lumpy - need to update
5. Need to lower the shelf in the business center - too high for actual work (or raise the chairs)
6. Need more than one printer in business center

That's it. I enjoy stayng here very much and plan to continue with regular 2-3 day stays for months to come.

Each staff member mentioned above went out of his or her way to make my mom, my daughters and me feel like we were their first priority! Customer service like this is amazing! When booking our reservation from a recent stay at this hotel, an error was made and our rooms were not booked within our "group" , therefore we did not receive the group rate upon arrival. We spoke with Javier at this location and he worked very hard to ensure the error was corrected and we were able to get the rate we were originally supposed to be booked under. He showed great customer service skills and was very patient while working to meet our needs. Thank You to Javier!

I traveled for business and my stay at this Hotel was absolutely wonderful in every sense of the word. The rooms were very clean and spacious and the every member ofthe staff I came across was genuinely friendly and accommodating. I am really picky about the wireless connectivity in many hotels since I travel extensively and the internet in this Hotel was lightning fast. I had breakfast & dinner in the restaurant and it was delightful. My server was very knowledgable and recommended the Salmon, which was perfectly cooked. In Some of the nicer hotels as this one I have noticed that the staff is sometimes stuffy, but this was not the case here. I felt totally at home and most welcome.. If you want to be papmpered and get the best value for your money, this Crowne Plaza Hotel is a perfect choice. Stay with confidence !!
