Let me first start off by saying that the pictures on the internet are not at all what this hotel looks like.. It is absolutely disgusting from the time that you check in, until the time you check out.. That also includes the extremely rude and disrespectful staff that they have chosen to represent their hotel.. I was in Austin this past weekend due to Special Olympics for my son.. I got to the hotel to check in only to find out that the price that was quoted to me was for a 1 bedroom suite instead of a 2 bedroom suite..Even though I had my internet reservation email printed out,they refused to put me in a 2 bedroom loft like I had booked well over 3 weeks prior to my arrival..I had called them 3 seperate times personally to make sure and triple check that they had my correct information in their computer system and to make sure that this exact incident would not happen after a 3 hour drive to Austin..The front desk staff proceeded to argue with me about my room situation and told me that I would only be getting a 1 room suite..I paid the bill for 3 nights and went to the room that i was told to go to..I walked in only to find that the washcloth that I was given from the front desk was filthy and had mascara on it from a previous guest.. The room had the most horrible smell and had tiny flies flying around the room ( not to mention the flies that flew out when I opened the coffee maker to put a filter in..) The toilet paper holder fell off of the wall the minute you tried to get toilet paper off of it and the carpet left the bottoms of my socks filthy..The filters in the vents also looked like they had not been changed in forever! My son and I were also kept awake until after 1 a.m. because of an extremely loud party thrown by the people up above us.. I called the office twice that night to tell them about it only to find out that their security officer would take atleast 30 minutes to get there to do anything about it..NOTHING was ever done to break up the party that they allowed to continue to go on.. All I can say is that my son was very scared because of people jumping up and down on the floor and all of the threatning language going on between all of the people there in the room upstairs.. We could hear word for word what was being said through the ceiling.. I went to check out the very next morning ,because I WAS NOT going to stay in such a disgusting environment for one more minute..I told the front office about all of the problems that occured while I was there for the night ( I also told them about the stains that were found on my bed sheets and believe me you don't even want to know what the stains looked like), only to get told that they have NEVER had a complaint at that hotel.. The front desk lady proceeded to get rude with me again and again until I checked out..Needless to say, DO NOT stay here.. I promise you that you get exactly what you pay for ! I for one will continue to tell people to avoid it like the plague!!!! Trust me , there are hotels out there that don't treat you like this and that are clean and well staffed..
