“Over the top Southern Hill Country Downtown Charm!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

I was very impressed by the service at the Mansion. Having brought my daughter to Austin for a mother/daughter getaway it was the perfect place. The Mansion had such wonderful hill country southern charm to it. It was Beautifully decorated with fine antiques giving the Mansion a wonderful ambiance. The evening offered drinks on the porch making you feel as if you were on a the quite veranda of a Southern Mansion. (However you are not far from the hustle and bustle of downtown traffic.) The room was nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable after a girls day on the town. I will definitely stay here again and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

“Good Stay .... Gym?”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

Overall, I'd have to say I was impressed with Mansion at Judge's Hill. The restaurant was, although empty when I arrived at 6 PM on a Wednesday ... delicious. My room was spacious & clean. They seemed to have all the ammenities they promise. My only grip was they grant gym passes with a partner gym up the road. Not a convenient option if you like to work out while you travel. Traffic was so backed up, I never made it to the gym.

Other than that, I'd rate this as a good stay. Ideal for anyone visiting or doing business with the University.

“Restless trip!”

We stayed here on 1/27/2012 and 1/28/2012. The first night was fine. The room was nicely done and it's a very pretty place. The second night we were blasted out of bed at 2:30 by a tremendously loud party that continued until 4.A.M. We kept thinking it would be over any minute but no such luck. I didn't call the desk because I was not wanting to wake my husband by turning on the light if he was sleeping thru this but found out the next morning he was awake for hours too. Told them at the front desk at checkout. They said they hadn't heard anything. Said I should have called them. Obviously nobody minds this place at night. They blamed it on students. They didn't offer to reduce our rate and I won't be back.

“Attractive and comfortable boutique hotel”

I stayed in here in August for 1 night on a short stay in Austin following a conference. Booked the hotel based on the Tripadviser reviews and found it a great place to stay. The building is very attractive with lots of charm. The rooms are nicely fitted out and very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Austin.

“Great Weekend!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 January 2012

We just returned from a wonderful weekend in Austin. I enjoy staying at boutique hotels and we were very pleased with The Mansion. Our king room was nicely decorated and overlooked the courtyard. We started our evening at the bar where we received outstanding drinks and service. After a fun night out on the town, it was great to come back to our elegant quiet room and sleep in the comfy bed. If you are looking for a romantic spot...this is it!

Room Tip: Rooms facing the courtyard are quiet
