My wife and I recently stayed here on a visit to Austin. I thought the hotel was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly. The breakfast had a good selection and newspapers available. The noise from the nearby train tracks was not too terribly loud, but if you are a light sleeper it might affect you. We had a room on the rear of the hotel and it might be a little less noisy if you have a room that faces the front parking lot. The location is very convenient to major highways to all of Austin with restaurants and shopping very close.

Stayed there for one night on a biz trip, the room was of Decent size, clean, with typical amenity for hotel at this level, nice selection at breakfast buffet with both hot and cold selection plus self made waffle which was a staple at residence inn usually instead of fairfield inn. good value for money, that is if you are a deep sleeper and do not mind the almost hourly freight train during the night.

Had a very nice first floor room. Up to date, very comfortable bed and furnishings. Excellent location and the people were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was hard boiled eggs, biscuits and sausage gravy and your normal toasts and cereals. There was also yogurts, milk and frozen breakfast sandwiches and pancake wrapped sausage. For the price we thought it was a great deal. But then I don't expect to get a gourmet meal. At least it was fresh and hot. Would definitely stay again and recommend to our friends.

This is a nice clean hotel. The rooms are fresh and in very good condition and there is nothing run down or shabby. A couple of things to be aware of: breakfast was average, there is some freeway noise, and the thermostat wasn't real accurate in my room. Service was excellent. I would stay here again.
