The man that check us in the counter had an earing not polite.We stayed for two days that the second day we requested towels the office said come and get them. Second day came nobody clean the room. This hotel stinks because the hotels provide stoves that everyone is cooking weird foods and you can smell it all over the halls all day long. Don't expect to get any service from this hotel. You have to get it yourself. The only thing they did to the hotel is painted fresh paint to hide their mistakes.

The location for this hotel is good and it looks nice from the outside.

Inside, it was noisy and dirty. Our first room had a half eaten cookie on the counter. The second room was better, but the AC temperature knob was broken and it was freezing in the room. Rather than change rooms again, we put it on vent and lived with it. NOTE: there was a stack of AC units behind the counter so they must be changing them out.

The room itself was OK but needed a thorough cleaning and rehab job. The tile floor had loose tiles. Several steel surfaces showed rust. The bathroom sink had dozens of cigarette burns.

On the good side, the bed was comfy and I like having a kitchen.

Although it was quite hard to find, the staff members were very helpful and accommodations were adequate. We had to circle around for about 20 minutes before we figured out how to get over to the hotel. Once there, staff members were able to give us local information such as closest restaurant (over 1 mile away) and taxi info. Internet was available but cost $5/ day so we opted against it.

We chose this hotel because we were going to a concert at The Backyard Bumble Bee Cave. This hotel was the closest to that venue; however this hotel was not close to anything else. Because of location, if I were to stay in Austin again, I probably wouldn't choose this hotel.

I was looking for something cheap for the night, i jus wanted to get away. I found this hotel online it looked nice. I got there the gm had already charged my card when i wanted to pay cash(i didnt even give him the card) and their website clearly states that a 1.00$ fee will be charged to the card to guarantee the reservation. When i asked if he charged it he said no, so i paid cash for it. I later called my card and thats when i found out it was charged. After checking into the hotel i was in the room for not even an hour and i was called with a family emergency, i went to the front desk to get a refund for the room, the clerk who was real rude wouldnt even try to hear why i wasnt goin to stay he jus said no refund. 1st he said the refund limit was 1 hour then he changed it to 30mins. So i was not able to get my money back, which really i dont see why, i didnt use nothing in the room and wasnt even in there long at all. On top of everthing there was no ash trays in a smoking room, the floor squeekd, the room had a kitchen with no microwave! the hall way smelled horrible. over all this was the worst hotel ive ever stayed at and I will never go back and I will tell everyone I kno NOT to stay here.
